After a bicycle accident resulting in a severe break in his left wrist, Duke University student Anuj Thakkar set out to create a better functioning cast, superior to existing technologies. He and close friend and mechanical engineering student, Atanaz Bohlooli, used the Stratasys J750 to design a custom-fit, waterproof, flexible, and removable 3D printed cast.
