A positive displacement diaphragm pump works by creating a cyclical movement on a diaphragm within the pump. When the diaphragm is expanded, fluid is drawn into the pump and when compressed, fluid is expelled back into the chamber.
These hermetically sealed pumps are utilized when hazardous chemicals such as paints, oils, and corrosive liquids are being processed.
