Levil LMV-F400 Milling Machine
Affordable and portable solution on ‘real’ FANUC hardware
Students write, edit, and verify programs using the editors and 3D solid model animation in NCGuide. They then set up tooling and workplace offsets and make the part on a real machine while still in the classroom. When they move to the workshop, students already experience in setup and operation - so the equipment is utilized more effectively, potentially reducing the number of machines required.
The Levil CNC milling cart enables students to gain exposure to milling practices, including on-machine programming, and set up operation.

Take it anywhere portability.
The CNC certification cart is designed to be ultra-portable, so it can be used in any classroom at any location - including satellite campuses, industry shops for onsite training and recruiting events. The small footprint with easy access allows portability, eliminating the intimidation that much larger machines can impose on students when first entering CNC programs. The portable machine runs on a standard single-phase 110vAC outlet and is capable of being moved from classroom to classroom through a standard doorway.
Industrial quality machine.
The certification cart machine is designed for 24/7 industrial production of small parts in a variety of materials including brass, aluminum, and soft steel. It is not your typical educational lab machine; rather, it is an industrial quality machine. It features high-speed 17,000 RPM, 2HP liquid-cooled spindle, a surprisingly large axis motion range and an integrated coolant system.
The eleven station automatic tool changer uses standard S20T tool holders that can accept a maximum tool size of 3/8". It is programmed with the usual Txx M06 G-code and delivers a chip-to-chip tool change time of 8-seconds. An economical tool length sensor and a touch probe are available options for training on automated setup.
Resolution 0.00004” (0.001mm) Repeatability 0.0002”(0.005mm) Accuracy 0.0004” (0.01mm) Rapid Feed (X, Y & Z) 400 ipm (10,200 mm/min) Cutting Feed (X, Y & Z) 240 ipm (6,120 mm/min) Rapid Feed (4th Axis) 19 rpm (7,000 deg/min)
With the FANUC 0i-Mate MD control, this cart is a highly reliable machine that is being used in machine shop environments to aid in the industrial production of small parts. It is also a great teaching tool where the students learn to use the same machine controls that can be found on big CNC machines all over the world.
