Somos® Momentum™

3D printing solution for footwear tooling.

Somos Momentum was developed in collaboration with footwear manufacturers to create a solution that prints tools with high accuracy, quality and fine feature detail. The accuracy of the resin allows the forming of sharp features, which in turn enables the creation of detailed footwear soles not only in initial design, but also translated into the aluminum mold. In addition, the pink color of the material makes it easy to discern key features in the design and to inspect the parts for surface defects.
