Fires pose a continual threat regardless of time or place, emphasizing the collective responsibility for workplace fire safety. Employers bear the responsibility of instructing their staff on potential fire hazards and the appropriate emergency responses. Alarming statistics from the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) reveal the frequency of fire incidents in the United States, with fire departments responding every 24 seconds, fire-related injuries occurring every 35 minutes, and a fire-related death every 144 minutes, contributing to an estimated $26.5 billion loss in 2018, according to the U.S. Fire Administration. This simulation aims to educate participants on fire risks, their origins, and effective prevention and control strategies.
