Angled Disc Butterfly Valve Cutaway
DAC Worldwide’s Angled Disc Butterfly Valve Cutaway (295-712) is an industrial valve sample and teaching aid that allows for convenient classroom or laboratory instruction in the design, construction, and maintenance of an angle disc-type butterfly valve.
These valves are commonly used in the marine and oil and gas industries. For example, these high-pressure, bi-directional, high-temperature, 360° contact valves are often used in distribution systems in the oilfield and in adjacent tank farms.
Due to the design characteristics of the valve, the valve itself is not cut away, but the mounting flanges are sectioned, allowing the full disk and seat of the valve to be seen. Seal features and hardware locations have been retained, allowing for “hands-on” training in maintenance.
