Digital Anatomy Creator
The Digital Anatomy Creator (DAC) is a powerful tool that creates unique presets, prepares models for printing, and enables sharing projects. Offering a detailed view of each slice of a model, DAC also provides many options for assigning the materials that affect a model’s mechanical properties. When used to print anatomy, the DAC prints a quality product that is highly compatible with real anatomy.
The DAC software is an extension to the GrabCAD Digital Anatomy 3D printing software intended for advanced users seeking to expand their personalized medicine arsenal. A user-friendly graphic interface allows users to use the different materials available on the Digital Anatomy printer to create custom presets with the desired mechanical properties and colors. Each model layer can be designed with digital materials and defined by five different structures providing specific mechanical properties and visualization to the final model.
While the DAC tool is available for subscribed customers only, GCP users can receive .adm files holding preset data from DAC users and use them for models in the GCP.
User Driven Software Solution
Stratasys developed the Creator software with a team of expert Digital Anatomy Printer users. Their needs were translated into software functionality shaped by insights and feedback collected during the development process to ensure that the end product answered the needs of advanced users and supported their digital workflow.
