DAC Worldwide’s Motor Load Option (419-000) is a component part of the DAC Worldwide Motor Fundamentals Training System (410-000) that adds a consistent, measured load to the 410-000’s system motors so that learners can study the operating characteristics of different motor types while under load.
This motor performance under load training device integrates with all DAC Worlwide motor control trainers using a connecting coupling and coupling guard assembly. When used in other electro-mechanical integration applications the device also supports the use and control of brake/clutch assembles, specialty single-phase motors, and other DC and AC powered accessories. A magnetic industrial tensioning brake provides intermittent or continuous resistance to the coupled motor trainer through a dedicated rheostat.
This motor performance under load teaching aid complements courses in industrial utility systems, boiler operations, and commercial HVAC.
